My first visit. I really enjoyed the seafood chowder and turkey sandwich. The staff were nice. My food was fresh.

Terrific soup, salads and sandwiches at a reasonable price. Tony loves his work and it shows. But you must behave or “no soup for you”

What a hidden gem in Carthage. It’s homemade from the hands of goodness. Had the soup and sandwich special for under 12. Creamy and delicious chicken poblano soup and a half chicken salad pita sandwich. Soooo good and they garnish it with fresh fruit and a chocolate cookie to boot!

Lovely restaurant. Great food and very friendly owners!

Cozy spot in downtown Carthage. Beware of the lunch rush. There is not much seating inside. You can eat in the hallway (2 tables) or opt for to go! They always have delicious soup and wonderful sandwiches.

Wonderful to experience a restaurant with such high quality soup and sandwiches. The decor is simple and clean, with lovely touches on the walls. I had the tomato bisque and I will come back just for that, it was so good. The chicken salad with grapes and water chestnuts on toasted wheat was hearty and flavorful. Our server was efficient and very nice. Shame on me for not getting her name. This sure shines as a "mom and pop" establishment. Two bitty fudgy brownie bites were complimentary and worth breaking my healthy eating plan for!

Collard green soup is amazing. Super hearty and tasty and filling. Great spot if you like homemade, clearly high quality soups.

Absolutely delicious! Quaint decor, local place and good food. The only thing that could make it better would be outdoor seating. Enjoyed it .
